NOTICE is hereby given that the 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of SERVICE ONE Mutual Limited (the Company) will be held at the Mercure Canberra, corner of Ainslie and Limestone Avenues, BRADDON, ACT on Wednesday 14 October 2020 at 6.00pm (registration will commence at 5.30pm).

More payment options with Apple Pay

From Tuesday 16 June 2020, Multi-Network Debit (MND) functionality will be enabled for Members using their eligible SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank Visa debit or credit cards with Apple Pay.

MND functionality enables Members to select their payment network preference (Visa, SAV or CHQ) when making purchases using Apple Pay.

Cards added to the Apple Wallet after 16 June 2020 will have the MND functionality enabled automatically. Members who have previously loaded their cards into the Apple Wallet but want to take advantage of this functionality can simply remove the card form the Apple Wallet and add it again (as a different card – rather than using the previously provisioned/quick add feature available).

Members using the MND functionality should take into consideration the fees and charges associated with eftpos SAV and CHQ transactions and should refer to the Schedule of Fees and Charges before using these payment options. We encourage Members to maintain the default option of Visa to minimise fees.

App update available

We’ve performed scheduled security maintenance on the SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank App and an updated version is now available.

To ensure your SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank App continues to work, please update the App to the latest version before 4 June 2020. In most instances, the App update will occur automatically depending on the settings on your phone. Alternatively you can update the App manually by searching ‘SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank’ in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Unfortunately during times of crisis, scammers try to take advantage of increased levels of concern and anxiety in the community. We saw this with the bushfires earlier in the year and more recently with COVID-19.

SERVICE ONE enhances COVID-19 support with further rate cuts

SERVICE ONE announces further decreases to variable rate home loans and other rate changes

SERVICE ONE will pass on the 25 basis point reduction following the Reserve Bank of Australia's cut to the offiical cash rate earlier in the month across the range of variable rate home loans – for both owner occupiers and investment, and includes those borrowers on Interest Only repayments. This reduction will also apply to the line-of-credit home loan.

Card fraud department scam phone calls

Our industry partner Cuscal that provides our fraud monitoring and detection service for access cards, Vigil, has made us aware of some scam phone calls that have targeted some cardholders.
