2019 Member survey terms and conditions

Objectives

This competition is to be run in conjunction with the release of the 2019 SERVICE ONE Member survey on Friday 21 June 2019. Members will be automatically entered into the competition to win a $500 top-up in their Day to Day Savings Account by completing the survey online (by visiting serviceone.com.au) by close of business Friday 2 August 2019.

Results

The winners will be randomly generated on Wednesday 7 August 2019 at 3.00pm. The winners will be notified of their win by telephone on Thursday 8 August 2019 and confirmation will be issued by email on this date. 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

2. The Promoter is SERVICE ONE Mutual Limited ACN 095 848 598 (SERVICE ONE) 75 Denison Street, DEAKIN ACT 2600.

3. Members will be automatically entered into the draw if they complete the 2019 Member survey and submit it online through our website at serviceone.com.au by 5.00pm Friday 2 August 2019.

4. Members must specify their name and Member number as part of the survey to be eligible.

5. Each entrant is only allowed to enter this competition once. 

6. Total prize value: $2,000. Prize consists of 4 x $500 in the form of a top-up of a Day to Day Savings Account held with SERVICE ONE. 

7. Only four prizes will be issued and prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

8. The $500 payment will be transferred to each winner’s Day to Day Savings Account held with SERVICE ONE within a week of the winner being notified of the win. If a winner does not hold a Day to Day Savings Account, one will need to be opened for the transfer to take place.

9. Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families and their agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter the competition. 

10. Unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to his or her information being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. All entries become property of the Promoter.

11. The competition commences on Friday 21 June 2019 at 9.00am and closes at 5.00pm on Friday 2 August 2019.

12. The winner will be randomly generated on Wednesday 7 August 2019 at 3.00pm at the Promoter’s premises (75 Denison Street, DEAKIN ACT 2600).

13. The winner will be notified of the win by telephone on Thursday 8 August 2019 and confirmation will be issued by email on this date.

14. The Promoter’s decision will be final and not subject to any type of review or appeal.

15. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by failure or malfunction of any equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur during the course of the administration of this competition.

16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in the operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. 

17. The Promoter will not be liable for any tax implications, which may arise as a result of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. 

18. The Promoter may conduct further draws at the Promoter’s premises, 75 Denison Street DEAKIN ACT 2600 at 3.00pm on Monday 11 November 2019 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject to any written directions given.

19. The redraw winner(s) will be notified by telephone on Tuesday 12 November 2019 and confirmation will be issued in writing on this date. 

20. Trade promotion exempt under section 6(1) of the Lotteries Act 1964.
